Rideau Recognition Solutions, a leading provider of recognition technologies and solutions, today announced that Christophe Laval, founder and President of the international firm VPHR, has been nominated to the Board of Directors.
A renowned employee recognition expert in North America and abroad, M. Laval is the founding President of VPHR, an international firm that is headquartered in Paris, France. VPHR is dedicated to employee engagement and well-being, and workplace recognition, working with organizations such as GDF Suez, La Poste, Clear Channel, Medtronic, Levi’s, Banque de France, KPMG and the French Air Force. In 2008, he authored the best selling book “Plaidoyer pour la reconnaissance au travail” (A Plea for Recognition in the Workplace).Peter W. Previously, M. Laval worked as the HRD Europe, for the Water and Energy Division with the Schlumberger Group then moved on to became the HR Director of Quaker Oats France. In 1996, he joined Yoplait as the HR and Communication Director. He was then called on to become CEO of the Compass Group France - Healthcare and Education, and later promoted to VP HR of Compass Group Europe. In Early 2006, Christophe was appointed CEO by the board of Entreprise & Personnel, an HR association of 150 major French corporations.
Christophe recently finished a three year term as a board member of Recognition Professionals International. He was the first person outside of North America to receive the Recognition Professionals International’s Certified Recognition Professional designation.
