Montreal, New York City and Montreal, Quebec, August 16, 2011 – Rideau Recognition Solutions, leader in online employee recognition solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Winters as Director, Strategic Development. Based in central London, Michael will spearhead Rideau’s UK and European sales efforts while maintaining Rideau’s industry-leading reputation for exceptional customer service. He will also provide consultation to Rideau clients in recognition assessment and program design, implementation and program operations.

Michael has extensive UK and European experience in both the reward and recognition and the employee benefits spheres, working with a variety of blue chip companies and multinationals such as Aramark, Barclays Global Investors, Coca Cola, EDS, First Direct, and JPMC. Most recently, he served as Business Development/Solutions Director for the You at Work program of Barclays Ventures, consulting with clients in improving employee engagement and business performance via adjustments in their total rewards package. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree with additional postgraduate qualifications in Marketing and Sales Management and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM Dip).
