Rideau Staff Earn Certified Recognition Professional Designation

New York, New York and Montreal, Quebec, July 26, 2011 – Rideau Recognition Solutions Inc., North America's leading provider of web-based incentive management solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of 19 Rideau employees who are now qualified as Certified Recognition Professionals (CRP), the professional designation sponsored by Recognition Professionals International (RPI). Rideau now boasts 60 employees with this important professional designation, placing Rideau first among all recognition companies worldwide with the most Certified Recognition Professionals on staff.

Developed by Recognition Professionals International to support employers’ needs for professional education of their recognition staff, and in response to industry trends, the CRP program includes one on-line course and three facilitator-led classes, each followed by a summary exam requiring a passing grade.  It is built upon RPI’s “recognition strategy model” which identifies four planning phases: strategy, implementation, review and assessment. The goals of the CRP Certification Program include raising the professional standards of those engaged in employee recognition and encouraging continuing education in the field.

Peter Hart, Rideau CEO, congratulated the CRP graduates at a special ceremony and thanked them for their commitment to the recognition profession and the future of Rideau. “We launched this employee professional development initiative four years ago and are delighted with its success.  I know that each of you has made a significant contribution in time and effort. The CRP designation has made a difference in the confidence of our staff, in quality service provision for our customers, and for Rideau’s industry-leading reputation.”
