Rideau Recognition Donates Artwork to Camp Corral in Order to Support Children of Military Heroes.

June 27, 2017 (New York, NY) – Peter W. Hart, renowned Montreal artist and CEO of Rideau Recognition, a global leader in employee recognition solutions and human capital management, presented today a collaborative painting to Camp Corral CEO, Mary Beth Hernandez to support their mission of transforming the lives of children of military heroes. The painting, done in collaboration with kids from YMCA Camp Gorham (part of the Camp Corral network) stems off an original painting donated to Camp Corral last month at a Recognition Professionals International (RPI) conference.

The painting titled, “Supporting Our Stars” symbolizes the work the organization has done for military families over the years. “When I first heard about Camp Corral and their ongoing mission to help support the children of wounded, ill and fallen military heroes, I was immediately touched and wholeheartedly wanted to be a part of it,” says Hart. The mixed media painting measures 60”x 36” and portrays handprints set in a red background surrounding white stars set on a vivid blue background. The golden corral along the bottom of the painting symbolizes the Golden Corral restaurant's support of Camp Corral. The twenty-two gold leaves along the corral represent the twenty-two Camp Corrals across the United States.“We are grateful for Rideau’s support and time spent collaborating with the kids on this wonderful painting representing our values and celebrating our partners. Camp Corral is touched by Rideau’s service and recognition to the cause” said Camp Corral CEO, Mary Beth Hernandez .
