Rideau’s “Vistance” is recognized with honors for HR solutions and technology innovation

Montreal, QC, May 8, 2017 – Rideau, Inc.  was declared the winner of HRO Today North America Forum iTalent competition held in Chicago, IL.  The iTalent competition is part of the annual HRO Today North America Forum and showcases the newest and most innovative HR solutions from around the world. Rideau, Inc. was one of eight finalists and its patent-pending Vistance solution was declared the top recognition solution.

Each year, HRO Today’s North America Forum encourages companies to submit their latest HR technology to the competition.   The entries are reviewed and the top candidates are invited by HRO Today to present their solutions at the conference to a panel of judges which included past iTalent winners, financial analysts and business owners. The HR solution who most exemplified the support of HR through the use of technology was proclaimed the iTalent winner.

In addition to the iTalent win, Rideau’s Vistance also was also chosen as HRO Today North American Forum’s TekTonic recognition winner.  The TekTonic award recognize innovation and disruption in the world of technology. Vistance was recognized for changing the way the world thinks of using technology with recognition.  “A lot of times, recognition and engagement are thought of as simply giving gifts to another for a job well done.” says Elliot Clark, CEO & Chairman at SharedXpertise. “Vistance was recognized because of its use of technology to help managers become better at connecting with their people and that can ultimately transcend into better work cultures for employees and better bottom-line results for companies.”

Vistance, Rideau's patent pending technology, uses predictive analytic employee recognition data to identify the return on recognition for companies and tailored prescriptive learning modules that create tailored education that focuses on the manager’s individual needs around recognition and engagement dimensions.

“Driving corporate strategy is very important to our constituency and as HR departments are leaned on to do more with less resources, technology like Vistance is not only bridging some of the gaps, it is making organizations stronger, more efficient and more profitable by understanding a company’s greatest resource – its people.” says Elliot Clark.

Through the use of real-time recognition data, Vistance Analytics allows companies to obtain an accurate picture of the current state of their business performance and identify tangible and actionable insights. Vistance Learning’s prescriptive online assessment and learning management system helps leaders improve their organization’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by helping them to better connect with their employees through personalized education modules.

“Winning the iTalent award at the HRO Today Forum EMEA in Edinburgh Scotland last year was fantastic,” says Rideau CEO, Peter Hart, who presented Vistance to the panel of judges “But to win it again at the HRO Today North America Forum and win the TekTonic award for recognition technology is validation for our Rideau team that the win in Scotland was not a fluke – we are really onto something that is transforming the industry and moving the dial on business performance and engagement in the right direction.”

As winners of the competition, Rideau, Inc., and Vistance will be featured in an upcoming HRO Today magazine article.
