The Tree Canada award is named “Eterne” to acknowledge the vitality and everlasting nature of trees and forests. It is awarded to companies who consistently show financial support and demonstrate enthusiasm for Tree Canada’s cause, marketing and brand recognition.
Since partnering with Tree Canada in 2010, Rideau Recognition Solutions has planted over 100,000 native trees throughout Canada and has made major financial contributions to Tree Canada’s “National Greening Program”. Rideau Recognition Solutions innovated the use of tree planting as a key component in many of its employee recognition programs.“We are honored to have received this prestigious award for something that is so important, yet comes very naturally to our company”, says Rideau Recognition Solutions CEO, Peter Hart. “We have a long-standing tradition of using materials wisely, conscious recycling and disposing of them properly. The planting of trees as a part of employee recognition programs illustrates how we’ve been able to weave together actions that make both employees and our Earth feel good.”
Mike Rosen, President of Tree Canada, will be presenting Rideau and its CEO, Peter Hart, with the actual award on June 16th at the Rideau office in Montreal.
