RIDEAU RECOGNIZES CLIENTS' APPEARANCE ON THE 2020 CANADIAN TOP 100 EMPLOYERS LIST
Montreal – February, 2020 Rideau, Inc., global provider of employee recognition and employee engagement suite of services, is proud to congratulate the 18 clients who appear on Canada’s Top 100 Employers of 2020. This year marks the 20th year of publication of prestigious list which represent some of the best and progressive employee-focused companies in the Canadian employment marketplace. “Our clients represent almost a fifth of the top 100 companies to work for in Canada”, says Chief Marketing Officer, Jennifer Lumba. “The Rideau clients that appear on the list represent a wide variety of industries, but they have one thing in common – they all focus on heavily on the employee experience.” Lumba further explains that it is no surprise or coincidence that a large number of Rideau clients have appeared on the list since its inception. “When you provide a workplace that is filled with managers that value their employees and gives them meaningful recognition, and opportunities to develop themselves personally and professionally, it translates to an engaged workforce that provides world class service to your customers, improved organizational success and increased stakeholder value.” The list is compiled annually by Toronto-based Mediacorp Canada Inc. and compares each organization’s policies and catalogue of best practices to others in their same industry and geographic region. The companies are then ranked based on their final comparative scores. The list is then compiled by Canada’s Top 100 Employers editing team using rigorous criteria in eight key areas: 1) physical workplace; 2) work atmosphere and social; 3) health, financial and family benefits; 4) vacation and time off; 5) employee communications; 6) performance management; 7) training and skills development; and 8) community involvement. Any employer with its head office or principal place of business in Canada may apply for Canada’s Top 100 Employers, regardless of size or whether private or public sector. “These companies are dedicated to creating work cultures that appreciate the contribution and diversity of their employees”, says Lumba. “From pre-hire to retirement and every stage in the employee’s work lifecycle, our clients understand the importance of each cornerstone of the employee experience and we are grateful to help them create and implement solutions that work.” The following are a list of Rideau’s clients that appear on the 2020 list of Canada’s Top 100 Employers (in alphabetical order): Air Canada Bell Canada Canada Revenue Agency / CRA Desjardins Group Emera Inc.
