The paintings showcase the Montreal artist’s favorite style of painting – collaborative. “I enjoy all types of art and media but collaborating with people is among my favorite artistic expressions,” says Hart. “I’ve been a fan of Camp Corral and its mission to transform the lives of children of wounded, injured, ill and fallen military veterans since I first heard about them and I’m always ready to collaborate with the great team at Camp Corral in any way possible.”
This year’s paintings by Hart represent not only Camp Corral’s dedication to providing a unique summer camp experience for military children, but also the ongoing support of two of Camp Corral’s largest sponsors, BB&T and Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
“We are pleased Peter was able to incorporate the generosity of both BB&T and the DAV into the spirit of his paintings,” says Anne Thornton, Executive Director at Camp Gorham. “The paintings are beautiful and bring a smile to those who see them, just as Camp Corral brings smiles to our nation’s youngest military heroes.”
“Rideau’s business is employee recognition and we are experts in recognizing the value in people, encouraging them and giving them room to shine,” says Hart. “In that way, Rideau and Camp Corral are perfectly aligned. We both want our audience to feel valued, appreciated and energized to use their talents to take on whatever life has in store.”
